Getting published is a struggle. Negotiating the intricacies and idiosyncrasies of the publishing world can be a nightmare. If you've all but given up on getting your work into the hands of readers, allow me to offer an alternative--self publish through Kindle (I have just purchased my second Kindle). It's a relatively simple process through Amazon.
